Le déroulé : départ de l’i-SITE de Wānaka (99 Ardmore Street) et navette panoramique de 20 minutes ; environ une heure de jet boat, ponctuée d’arrêts photo ; une balade guidée de 50 minutes, tout en douceur, dans une forêt séculaire de hêtres indigènes, jusqu’à une cascade (accessible à tous les âges — vous pouvez aussi rester près du bateau) ; puis 45 minutes de descente au fil de l’eau pour le retour. Comptez 4 heures au total. Nos guides partagent l’histoire et les récits māori de la vallée, élaborés en concertation avec Ngāi Tahu.
Nous naviguons toute l’année. En été (du 1er octobre au 30 avril) : deux départs par jour, à 9h45 et 12h45. En hiver (de mai à septembre) : un départ par jour à 12h45 — réservation préalable indispensable. Les sorties se déroulent en anglais.

Looking for something a bit wild, a bit breathtaking, and completely unforgettable? This is New Zealand’s ultimate alpine experience — a half-day adventure that takes you from river rapids to a glacier, and back again.
It all starts on the Matukituki River, deep in the heart of Mount Aspiring National Park. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and glacier-fed streams, you’ll hop into one of our jet boats for an adrenaline-pumping ride.
